FSM was developed by Dr. Carolyn McMakin in 1995 after inheriting frequencies passed on by a Canadian osteopath. She first developed frequency protocols for myofascial pain in 1996. She went on to teach FSM in order to see if the results were reproducible, by June of 1997 they found that widely they were. Frequencies were developed back in the 1900’s and have been tested over many years by “trial & error” methodology. Microcurrents have been found to increase ATP production in a cell by 500%. This is important in FSM because being able to alter cell function can allow for stimulating the healing process in cells, which leads to tissue repair and organ repair etc. etc. Cascading upward. Protocols have been developed for issues such as myofascial pain, fibromyalgia, sports injuries, concussions, and many other health concerns. Recently a protocol has been implemented for neurological and emotional aid.
With FSM, an evaluative appointment is first needed in order to determine which frequency programs are needed for specific to the patient. Then FSM single session therapies are set up to run the programs that were found. An evaluation appointment and the initial therapy session can be done the same day, we then recommend coming in once or twice a week on non-consecutive days.
The initial evaluation appointment is 1 hour at $90 and single session therapies are an hour maximum (depends on your programs) at $60. We also offer an 11 session therapy package deal for $594 (a $660 value if purchased individually). Schedule evaluation or therapy appointments with Rachael Essen.
